Can you help me with this question:
I have a fin R16 deboichei 70 cms in this board and my sail is 9.8. When the wind is high, I feel like the board goes out of the water. My weight is 66 K. What do you recomend me? Thanks |

Hi Remi.
I donīt use my board for competition, Iīm begining in this formula class but I like to go fast. Some times I sail with others (formuleros) that have more experience. The fin is R16 deboichei, rake +7 and soft less less 70 cms. Generally the wind is about 14 - 18 knots and like I told you my weight is 66 K. I was thinking if is better cut the fin to 66 cms or use the fin that come with the board (R19). Thanks for your help Remi. |

Hi remi,
I have likely same question, which fins are the best for me on the formula 161. Now at the end of the season there me be some change thoughts about the right choice with fins for this board. I am going to compitite next year, and i am 75 kilo`s. I have read a lot of good recomments about the R 19 extra soft rake 8+ under 15 knots and R 13 medium rake 8+ above 15 knots. Are this still the best fins recomended at this moment? And is this rake 8+ good or can you prefer me some rake else, for example +6? what do you recommend me? Thanks already |
