How to pop from completely flatwater

How to jump from comepletely flatwater? I think I use a lot of energy to pop the board out of the water, so much energy that I cannot jump the board around also, for the vulcano.

you could try sheeting out by pulling your front hand, which will reduce mast foot pressure and unstick the nose
