Hello,
I have an iSonic 105 which I use with Code Red 7.7 and 6.1 and I am planning to buy a smaller slalom for +25 knots days. I have my doubts about getting an iSonic 76 or 86. My weight is 75Kg, I generally sail in a lake and I plan to use it with a 5.0-5.5 sail. I am not really into pure speed sailing and I will mainly use it for blasting around and occasionally doing a slalom event. Which one would you recommend considering all this? Thanks for your input! If you're going to confine yourself to a 5.5 or 5.0 I would get the iSonic 76. I weigh 83 kg and that would be my choice if I were only using those sail sizes. The 76 is so efficient and planes up so easily that you can even use your 6.1 on it in lighter wind. For reference I have an iSonic 50 that planes for me in 17-19 knots with a 5.9.
