I sale in Vitória Brazil and I am thinking of changing may high wind board. I have an offer of one I sonic 94 ( 2007) for a good price, but I am in doubt if this board would not be too small to my weight (84Kg).
I would aprreciate is I could have a help. |

I am your weight and have an iS87. It is suprisingly easy to sail even with big sails. As long as there is enough wind to plane it is brilliant.
With all the volume under your feet it's east to sail and gybe but tacking needs to be very quick. It depends on your skill level as to whether you will be able to sail it. Is there any possibility to try it first?

Thanks Phill.
Unfortunately there is no Isonic 94 here in Vitória. I very used to saling with a Fanatic 99L ( very old) in the wind range from 20 to 30 nots. All the best. |

Hi Furtado,
We have excatly the same weight I use in that condition the iSonic 76 and 86 with 5,6 and 6,7 code red. iSonic 76 accept both and I use the Deboichet SL3 34, 32 or 30cm depend of the water conditions. You can choose also the 86 to be more safe in 20 knots with Deboichet SL2 34 and SL3 34cm with 6,7 and deboichet SL3 34 and 32cm with the 5,6m˛ All the best |

For the smaller sails I use 31,29 and 27cm F1 Falcons and will soon buy some smaller ones but I use the board on the speed strip and not for slalom.
