Hi,
do have an old SB 155 formula, love it for it's early planing so never had the urge to change it. Now I've bought a Vapor 2007 11.0. The old 58 fin is worn out, so need to buy a new one. I do use this set only for light wind situations, when the wind picks up I step on my isonic 125 with RS Slalom 8.4. My question: which fin should I choose for this combination on my 155?? Some say 70 centimeters 'because its formula', others tell me to go 65 cm max. due to the width of only 85 cm. Would be great to get a reply, greetings koen |

Koen,
Agree a 62-65 cm fin is max efficient size because OFO width is only 62.1 cm. Plenty of post on old forums archives (2001-2002). Get a Deep Tuttle head if you don't want to ruin the finbox of your oldies. Cheers ! JM |

oops, I realized 2001-2002 old forum archives are a bit tricky to get access to, so here is the protocol :
1) go to 2006 forum, type in your query (F155 biggest fin) and search in forums (must be checked) in the link below: http://2006.star-board.com/forum/starbulletin/forum.asp 2) if you want to retrieve a post and go past "file not found", replace the www by 2006 in the URL as shown below : http://2006.star-board.com/Forum/sta...t=200121915634 (t=2001... indicates that's an old 2001 post above). 3) in sum, all 2000-2006 posts are found in the 2006 archive forum. All 2007 and 2008 posts are found in the current forums I guess. Cheers ! JM |
