new sail on ST126

Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of replacing my old 6.7 that I use on the ST126 quite often, perfect combination but with my 67kgs I guess I could increase low end with 7.5 or 8....my question is can the stype handle a pure slalom sail like 7.8 RSS or would I better off with a lighter 7.5 not to overload the board??

Hi Nick,

You can definitely put a full race sail on the ST's but most prefer a slightly softer and more reactive type sail, which most cases also ends up being lighter. With 67kg rider, 7.5m or 8m is fine in any style, but unless you're totally into full on drag racing, you may find a better bottom end (per sq/m) and a more engaging and entertaining ride combo with a fast freerace or draft stable sail in few or even no cams.
