I can only guess, but I suppose it's similar to the difference between Slalom Pro (more responsive) ans SR-6b (powerful, hard ride). See description on:

Hi guys, chatting about fins, this week i emailed three times deboichet to purchase a new fin and had no response, does somebody know if they keep on in the market or changed email address?

Willy, I've been also emailing for a month and I then got one reply. I am still waiting for the answer for availability since two weeks.
A guy who bought from them told me they can really drive you out of your mind if you are in a hurry. I'll just try and be patient. I just hope there are not too many "good customers" getting ahead of me...

Cholo, thx for your reply, is a pitty that with their retail prices they know nothing about marcketing. Somebody know if there is any similar fin to replace it?

Willy, if there was a similar fin, I am sure they would be more responsive.

Cholo, last july i bought from deboichet an SL2 32cm and payed euros 155.00 plus freight. It is a very good and predictable fin so i need now a 36cm but seems nobody answer any email. A pitty

155 € + VAT (depending on where you live) + shipping. Not that crazy price, considering quality, reputation and competition.
I bought 3 fins from them last Summer. Not easy to communicate via e-mail, much faster and easier by phone.
