Default What about...

...the combination Starboard Formula 162/Severne Glide 8.5 for recreational sailing in light wind conditions?
Does someone have any experience with this quiver?

Good sailing, TJ

Hi TJ,
Can't tell you about the F-162/Glide 8.5 combo, but I did sail the '07 Apollo quite a bit with the '07 7.5 Glide (rigged as full as possible) and it planed suprisingly early.
The light weight of the Glide, plus the super draft depth made me think I was on an 8.5 m2 Free race sail.
Combine this with the really early planing capabilites of the F-162 (or in my case the '07 Apollo) and you have a great combination for lighter sailors. Might work pretty good for heavier sailors as well.
Hope this helps,

Hi Roger,

Thank you for your reply. Glad to hear that your almost identical combination worked well. I'll probably buy them both next week during my vacation. Hopefully they will drastically increase my time spend on the water.

Best wishes, TJ
