Sail size discepency ! Industry Standard !!!
Just been comparing two sails.Both (in theory ?) 5 metres.
Gun MC Wave luff 422.boom 175 NP Combat luff 420 boom 165 Both sails virtualy identical "shapes" on ground. (ie head area) They are nothing like equal in area !!! Obviuosly MC is better in light winds. (Its a power wave !!) Combat is great in high winds ! (Its small !) Isnt it time there was an industry standard for measuring area. !! Its not hard. |
