Default Kode 80 Volume

Hi there,

I heard the volume from the Kode 80 is smaller (74liters) than the described 80 liters.
Do you measure the volume excactly by water weight or just estimating?
As I am 90 kg and I have ordered the Kode 80 for sail-seize 4.0m to 4.7m,
I would be glad to receive the expected volume of about 80 liters.
Thanks for your comment.

No, its for sure not 74 liters, much closer to 80. I've sailed it together with a board that I know is 74 liters (ET74) in sub planing conditions and the K80 is clearly floatier. I don't have the exact figure though and sometimes boards real volumes do differen from the given one. But I have it in my quiver as my only really floaty wave board (I'm 70kg) and I'm very happy with it.

I think you'll be happy with it too. 80 or something like 78 will not make a huge difference at your weight since its a rather sinky board already. It's like a 60 or 62 for me. Both are sinky and the small difference is hard to feel. But the super efficient rocker on the Kode 80 will get you going and keep you going really well even when only moderately powered up, I think.

You're welcome to give feedback when you sailed the board.

Thanks for your info.
I will surfing the Kode 80 carbon in Cape Town in a few weeks.
After, I let you know about my impressions.
