Hi,
the sailrange SB gives for the futura 101 is from 4.5 - 7.5. I've managed to sail 7.8 on it, no problem. RS4 7.2 is spot on I would say, like it overpowered on the F101. RS4 6.2 gets a bit small for the 101 when the water gets rough... but it could be me who is the limiting factor. Or is it in the fact I use full on race sails? (RS4) . my weight is about 90 kgs. Maybe I schould step on smaller boards by the time 6.2 is full powered. Of course I do use different fins, sizes down to 30/32 cm for the 6.2; 34/36 for the 7.2 (extra info: For my isonic 125 I do find 7.8 is ok, 7.2 gets to small for me in order to sail relaxed ) Can anybody tell something about the given sailrange for the futura 101/ his or her thoughts about my experiences, would be great! I am getting to think I like my boards small... although, smaller than I used to. |

question for 628
Whats your F93 go like with a 7.0? I've got a F93 and use a 6.4 naish red line which is a great combo, however the wind lately has been just that 1-2knots lighter than ideal, a 7.0 would be spot on. I have a F122 which i use with a 8.4RSS, hence i think my gap is a little to big |

Think weight has a masive effect on sail range.Whats your weight KVda ?
I generally find boards struggle at upper limit of sail range but I can generally use board very well below minimum recommended. (But my weight is 102k) Or I like my boards big ??? |

My weight is 85kgs. I have both cambered and non cam at 7m. I use the no cam as it is lighter works better as I feel 7m is the limit of the F93.
Regards Al,

whats your 7m no cam 628? why does it work better? I'm thinking about a NP hellcat 6.7, however i really don't if this will be much better anyway. I seem to be lacking bottom end out of the jibe with the redline |

Hi There,
I use a 7m Tushingham Thunderbrid and freerace no cam. I have also a fully cambered 7m slalom sail but find the no cam lighter and doesnt seem to bog the board down.
