Having used a Demo 112 Kode 2009 which was great I bought one in end of season 2009 board sale. Oddly the first demo 112 2009 had a white underneath and the reacently purchased 112 2009 has a red underneath. The red one looks heaps better, which is the right colour scheme.

I'm pretty sure it is red. Maybe the one with white bottom was a very early production model. Sometimes graphics is not completely finalized during the first "pre-production" run, I've noticed.

Hi qldsalty! Iīm also thinking of getting the Kode 112L, but havenīt found this size in any magazine-test yet. I am roughly the same size as you and have Severne sails OD 5.5, Element 6.5 and NCX 7.5, just wondered how you have liked the Kode 112? Fast enough and still easy/fun to jibe?

Hmm - Ive just bought an ex demo version... and it has a white bottom... although all the pics I've seen - it looks like they are red...
I was considering getting the 112 - but everyone adviced me to get a 102. Not sailed it yet... as the wind has dropped since I picked it up yesterday!! |
