Hi Remko,
If you don't want to go over 9,6, your choose will be iSonic 133 and with that one you can participate at slalom event, not with the 145. The balance is really perfect with the 9m on the iSonic 133. All the best

Hi Remi / Ian,
I weigh 75Kg. If i were to use 9m and 7.8m ..which Isonic do u recommend, the 122 or 133? What do i gain on the 133 other than earlier planing, compared to the 122? Any other factors to consider, like control in chop and top end speed? any advice would be great! Cheers |

Hi Kenneth,
Definitely go for the iSonic 122, this board have an excellent glide and will be perfect for your sails and body weight. The iSonic 133 is perfect for 9 and 10m and heavier sailor. All the best

Hi Remi,
Thanks for advice! If my biggest board is the IS122, would a 104L, 65cm wide board be too close to the 122? Will be using 9m or 8.5m on the 122, and 7.5m on the 104. My weight is 75kg. Also, what fin sizes do u recommend for both boards? Cheers! |

Hi Kenneth,
I recomand you the SL2 Deboichet 42 cm or 44 cm on the iSonic 122 with 8,5 or 9m, but can't answer for the second one. Which board is it? Personaly I jump from 133 to 101, but for you 122 to 101 will be good also. I use 7,7 and 6,7 on the 101 with 34, 36 and 38 cm SL2. Hope this help

Hi Remi,
Thanks for the advice! The 104 is actually an AHD Tracer'06, I reckon the specs are not too far from the IS101 (104L/65cm vs 101/63.5cm). Given the choice, i wud hv gone for the is101, but i happen to be able to get the 104 at used price. So ultimately, my question is whether IS122 and ahd104 would be too close? cheers! |
