Anyone have any time on the Kode 68 vs the 74 ? Does it feel any bigger than 68 ?
weight here 65kg/150lbs : sails to use are 3.2 rare 3.5 3.7 & 4.2 most in use rare 4.7 control : major priority, some float be nice, during gusts , decrease in wind. Leaning towards the 74L as it would get the most use....... best option in most situations Does my logic sound reasonable ?

At your weight the 68 will not be that small. These boards are very effective and goes though holes well also when chosen rather small. When its 3.5, I think that the kind of control that you need kind of changes. Its not as much about directional stability anymore. Instead the wind simply blowing the board around becomes the most important factor (at least for me). And than means that even in board is stable enough (like the K74 is) is will feel big and hard to hold on to just because it has too much area. So the shorter K68 will probably be a better choice. It's actually not much narrower but it will stil get blow around a lot less.

Hi, I am 70Kg/160lbs and I have an Acid 74 2007. The 74 sees most use in the Bay Area with 4.2-4.7-(and 5.3 although at that point I am on my RRD FSW) and starts to get big below that, in my rare 3.7 days. So, I would guess that 5Kg and 0.5 square meter less is a very good candidate for a Kode 68. But if you lean toward the 74 I could sell you my Acid 74 so that I can get a Kode 68!
