Hello Remi,
From your experience, what is the "sweetspot" sail and fin range for the futura 93 and 101? Do you prefer using a camless sail with these boards? What kind of sail do you primarily use with the futuras? What are your comments on these boards with regards to minimum planing threshold, speed and handling ocean swells? I currently use a 2007 isonic 122 matched with a 2008 rss8.4. I weigh 70 kg. As my second board, I need one that i can sail comfortably in 15 to 30 knot conditions. 3 to 5 foot ocean swells. Would you recommend the 93 or the 101? What fins do you use with these boards? Thanks. |

Not Remi, but in my experience, for 25-30 knots open water and at 70 kilos, both these boards would be too big.

Hi Toleg,
would suggest the Futura 93. A very fast board, which can take a lot of wind. Sure you can use a Cam sail on it. Bets finsizes are a 32 or 34. Chris

Hi Toleg,
We developpe this board in Vietnam in strong condition and very choppy water with waves and both of them work. But for your weight I will recommand the 93. This board have the avantage to have a good balance from Gator to Code Red, so it's just depend what you want. My style is more race so I will go more for Overdrive and Code Red but I take alos a lot of pleassure with the Gator. To combine speed and easy to handle the new Ncx Pro are really amaising and will be the best combination for this condition. Hope this help All the best
