Genie GT31 Doppler speeds in Traks ?

Bought that GT31 and its working great (after a few pilot errors ?) Anyhow I was under impression that the new Genie utilised Doppler shift not just in its Speed read out but also that this Dopler info was recorded in /alongside trak point info ?

This does not seem (to me) to be case. For example last time out my Vmax was 28.8 knots. Vmax (10 sec) was 27.5 kts (both in unit History) but on down loading and inspecting results these changed to 27kts and 26.2 kts (respectively)

Surely if Trak log contained the original Doppler speed info, results would be identical ?? Or am I not utilising the Doppler info ??? If not how is it accessed ???

Seems to me the Trak log analysis is identical to my previous Garmin ??? (Gecko 301)
