I have a 2008 i86 which I use for GPS and I love this board. I use this board with RSR's 5.8 and 6.7. I'm looking at changing to RSS Mk III"s but the sizing has changed. I weigh between 75 and 80 kg(depends on beer consumption for that week) will the 7m be too big for this board, am I better off getting the 5.5 and 6.2 or the 6.2 and the 7 ? The RSS's should have more low end grunt then the RSR's
My other combo is a i122 and RSS II 8.4 and I am a bit worried that the gap between both combos will be too big if I dont get the 7m. My main goal is GPS speed, but dont want to be sitting on the beach either. Last edited by Haggar; 28th December 2009 at 05:31 AM. Reason: error in title |

I have used my 7.5m KA Koncept on my i86 and it felt alright and didn't feel too big for the board so a 7m should be okay to use so you are probably better to get the 6.2m and 7m. Hope this helps

Hi Haggar,
itīs the perfect combo out of my view. If I would go for a 2 board combo, I would decide for 86/122. You can put the 7,0 on both boards depending on the wind. But no worries, the 86 plus the 7,0 works fine for GPS speed. Chris

Thanks guys, I guess that the 6.2 for the i86 will be optimal sail compared to the 7, and that 7 will help to get me on the water : ) Need to go and find the $$$$ now .....
