I'm buying a used 2002 156 Formula d-ram, unfortunately the seller (and the 2002 starboard website) only had pics of the deck, leaving the hull design a mystery. What were the rocker and cutaways like on that year's model?
It also has repairs, or at least new paint, around the fin box area on the deck. Should I be cautious of this in a used formula?

Hi K.lauman,

Could be a bad fin box repair, not secure, wrong angle etc. Last thing you need is to be out at sea and the fin box to break again Plus a hammered 8-year old board might have "soft spots" in the deck. View the board in the flesh to see its real condition, might be a really good one. But, if in doubt, walk away.
