Hi Remi
I´m an intermediate windsurfer, planning in footstraps, harness, waterstart, working on gybes now. I´m 78kg and sail in flat and choppy waters. I have a 5.0m and 6.0m sails without cambers and a 7.0m and 8.0m sails with cambers. I have a Futura 101 L to sail with 5.0 and 6.0 and a Fanatic Shark 130 L to sail with 7.0 and 8.0 sails. I love so much the Futura for the speed and ease of use!!! My Shark is 258cm long and 70cm wide and i use it with two fins: 46cm and 36cm I want to buy a Futura to replace my Shark but i cant decide between the 122 L or 133 L. I´m afraid that the Futura 133 L being 76,5cm width will be to large to sail with 7.0m well powered up and that the 122 L being only 245cm long will be to short to uphaul a 8.0m camber sail when the wind goes done... Can you give me your opinion? Thanks a lot |

Hi Mario,
Please read this : http://www.star-board.com/2010/news_...?threadid=8010 So you can use the 122 & 133, but if you want more stability, you can go for the 133. All the best

I´ve seen this link and read it before but i´m still confused. In your opinion and regarding i have a Futura 100 L do you think that a 122 L will be to close or a 133 L will be to distante from the 100 L? Thanks for the quick reply. |

Hi Mario,
The step between the Futura 101 and 122 is enough, but if you need more volume for your balance or your spot specification, go for the 133. All the best
