Hi Team Starboard. I'm a slalom newbie having trouble with the fit of the stock 44cm fin into a 2006 iSonic 135.
![]() It slides in 90% of the way but rocks back and forth slightly when the screws are fully tightened. Does the fin head need filing? Thread"pots" at the wrong angle? Could someone describe the correct dimensions of the screws and washers? I might have the wrong sizes. I saw another similar thread but I think my problem is slightly different. The dealer assured me everything was perfect. The board is excellent but the fin fit is a thorn in the side. I think this website could use a PDF with pictures on how to tune/file and install this technical fin system. |
