North WARP '08 9.9 or 10.0 on Formula BOARD

Hi to every one,
Can someone tell me if there is much of a difference on putting a 9.9 (slalom) sail from a 10.0 (formula) sail on a starboard formula 161? Is there enough twist on the 9.9? I have tried a NP slalom sail at these sizes and the leech does not twist enough so that the sail can be hold in strong winds.!!!

Don't know if I understand your question well.

It seems to me like you have doubts if your sail releases enough wind power in heavy gusts while sailing your F161.

I also don't understand which sail you're actually talking about: 9.9, 10.0, NP or North Warp ? Which NP type ?

Which wind force are we talking about ?

Do you apply enough downhaul to let the sail do its twist job ?

I currently have a NP slalom MK-II 10.0. No matter how much downhaul force I apply to the sail the leech does not twist enough.
I think that this is because it is intended for light wind sailing (its a slalom sail and its the biggest of the series NP produced).
Anyway the sail feels heavy and difficult to control when the wind picks up. On the other hand 10.0m2 formula sails are intented for medium to high wind racing.
I have a North Sails mast and I am thinking of buying a North WARP 10.0 sail which is clearly intended for formula (high winds). The WARP 9.9 is the largest of the slalom sails (just like the NP 10.0 that I have).Unfortunately I cannot find a 10.0 for sail but there are lots of 9.9!!!!
The question then is: Which is best for high wind formula sailing?Anyone with experience of these sails? Will it be tough to control the 9.9 in high winds?
