I was last saturday at the kabelaarsbank and measured 18 knots average with sometimes peaks to 25 in the afternoon.
I was on my IS101//6.7. Felt really well powered up. I also tried a 7.8 (RSRevo2) from a friend, but that was a little too big for me.
At the Schotsman, the SW wind must have come somewhat side onshore, with a bit more chop than on the kabbelaarsbank I suppose. Probably the reason that the 101 felt better than the 107 ?
Does the 107 feel much bigger than the 101 ? Slower ?

Yes the 107 feels a lot bigger, from 107 to 101 is quite a big step down, I didn't expect it to be that big. But allround, the 107 is really great. Feels solid, early planing. The 101 definitively is the faster board when well powered up with 7.2
