New carbon construction in 2012?

The 2012 Isonic website : "New: Carbon biaxal carbon on deck"

Is this another construction than the carbon 2011?

And are the footstraps(easier to extend for bigger feet?) and pads(thicker?) different in 2012 than in 2011 on the Isonic range?

Hi MOP,

The 2012 iSonic use Biax/Carbon 150 on deck while the first iSonic 2011 ws using UD Carbon 80g + 60g glass on top. This make the board more stronger but also more comfortable, UD 80 was too stiff.
Foot-Straps are totally new to be adaptable to small and big feet but pads are still the same thickness but with more grip. Thickness on pads is the enemy to go fast, you loose the good connection with the board.
