This one is for the designers. I notice on the larger Futura's and now the Carve's the rear footstrap holes are not parallel with the centre line ( stringer line in surfing terms ). The front holes are placed wider from the centre line than the rear holes. When I had a 2008 Futura 133 I constantly hit my toes on the leading edge of the footstrap. All other board brands I looked at thus far have them parallel. Also my Kode 113 is parallel.
The odd thing is that on the Isonic 117 I now have, the footstraps are parallel to the centre line. In my opinion a lot better and the width is very similar. Why one style on the isonic and a another on the freerides?
