Best sail for starboard isonic 133

Hi.
I have a isonic 133 (2008) and i am planning to buy a new gaastra phantom.
My doubt is a 8,5 or 9,2 sail??? I have a select elite 49 fin and my smaller sail is gasstra vapor 6,7.
What is your suggestion??

I had an 2008 isonic 133 and weigh 88Kg. I used it with sails from 7.5-9.0 and they worked great. That size fin sounds perfect for your biggest sail on this board (around the 9m size). Personally I prefered to change down to my Futura when using a 6.7m sail, that said it will take it but only if still flatish conditions prevail.

i have a 127 with vapor 2010 9.3 and 7.6, i also use the 7,6 on smaller boards.
i also have 2009 vapors 6.7 and 6.0
the 2009 is easier to get more bottom end out of, so my 6.7 and 7.6 overlap alot!
It depends where you sail and how your conditions are, and what sieze your smaller board is.

For just freesailing you could live with the jump from 9.2 to 6.7, but i would also get a 7.8 for slalom racing
I´m 86kg so i really like my vapor 9.3 because of many light wind days here.

At your 90kgs.. go for the 9.2

ivanpetosic, Remi is right the 9.2 is a great sail to get this board going, but I much prefered to use a 8.6m and 7.8m sails on this board. 9.2 to 6.7 is a big jump, poss too big. Do what Kapten says and try to get yourself a 7.8, you should be able to pick up a good second hand RS Slalom MKIII for around £250 and will work great with this board.

sounds like you have already made up your mind! I have the 2009 133 and weigh 78kilos. I find a 7.8 a perfect match with a 8.5 as an option if the wind is a bit lighter. I use a 48cm fin with the 7.8 and a 52cm with the 8.5.
The 133 appears to me to work best by concentrating on technique as opposed to hanging onto a big sail. Given the difference in our weights I would recommend going for a 8.2 to 8.5 as your main sail. ps I have no experience of the sails you mention. I use Tush Lightnings which have the benefit of more bottom end grunt than most full race sails
