Hi Remy,
I use the Futura 122 from 2011 with 7,7 H2 (75kg, 170 cm) and it works perfectly on lake garda. I'm going to think about 8,7 H2 or even 9,2 H2 to improve low end. Is this an useful addition? I'm interested in your opinion. Best wishes from the wild south of Germany ;-). Andreas |

Hi,
I have Wood Carbon Futura 111l,from 2010. With 4 cambers 7.8 race sale I can start planning in 12 knots. Some pumping of course is needed. I tried to put 8.5 freerace sale, but it feeled unbalanced combo. My weight is 80kg. |

Hi,
Just to add my experience with the futura wood 122, 2010: 7,2 hellcat, 7,7 hellcat, 8,0 V8 are perfect, lots of control, top speed with drake 40 fin. V8 9,0 with select 44 freerace : manageable, but combo feels slightly unbalanced and not very efficient in lulls. To cover low end, I choose the US 147 for sails >9 m2, providing comfort and excitement at the same time. Regards, rdrsurf |

Hi Andreas
You can use with out problems until 9m over it will start to be not in balance. So ok for 8.7 but not for 9.2. You might think about the Turbo 8.6 who is a winner in test and also excellent on this board. I use it to develop this board. Hope this help All the best

In another thread Remi advised me a severne turbo 8.6 for futura 122.
I bought one and used it a few times now and I think its great sail. It fits the board very well, I use it with a c3 venom fin 46 cm or a black projects fin type R 42.5 cm. Thanks Remi for the advise not to buy the 9.2 turbo, its definitely to big for the 122. |
