Unfriendly message
When you do a Google search for starboard your confronted with an unfriendly site description that has sod all to do with windsurfing.
If I read that I would think you are definitely not a windsurfing site. Can you change your meta tags to something more windsurfy? "Welcome to the Starboard official web site, a light-weight web content management system (WCMS) written in PHP. It utilises a mySQL database to store site ..."

Hi Phill,
Yes, agree it's pretty indifferent, it's generic and not our personal choice of content either. But hardly what most would consider "unfriendly" - rather just pretty lame. As you've likely seen, that is the text from the actual site description; there are (at this time) no keywords in the metatags section. So we'll fix that up - and make it more friendly. Suggestion well taken. What's your suggestion for a "non-unfriendly" descpription for the site ?? "A Bangkok based Windsurfing Website where you can get involved"  OOps, that one is probably copyright !! ?? Cheers ~ Ian |
