I'm going to be taking a road trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco. We're planning on spending a couple of days taking in the sights in SF, then driving somewhere else. I wanted to know from Bay Area residents what are their favorite destinations that are within about a 5-6 hour drive from the Bay Area. I'm thinking more along the coastline and going toward Oregon, not east toward Tahoe. Places that are child and baby-friendly would be a plus as well.
