Hi Guys,
I have been reading this forum a lot recently, and have to say found a lot of interesting informations over here. Thanks! I am looking for a new board for myself. I have a F2 Stoke 125 2007 which was my first board, and i sail this most of the time. My new board have to plane early with my biggest NP v8 8.5 sail, be quite light (max. 7.5kg), good for jibing and going upwind, and fast of course i am 82 kg, my oder sail are NP hellcat 7.8 and excess 6.9. i am going to use this one for flat/choppy conditions up to 20 knots ( for stronger wind i have Kode 94 and smaller wave sails) So i need to choose between Kode 122 - Futura 122 - iSonic 122 from 2009/10 models any ideas, opinions, tips which will be best for me?? thanks for any comments. bartek ![]() ps. i think you gonna recommend Futura to me, but are the Kode much worse and in which areas?? |

hi bartek, i would not really recommend the kode 122 because it isnt particularly brilliant in anything. if you are looking at a freeride board then choose the futura, and if you really want to go fast then choose the isonic. i personally don't like the isonic 122 because i dont like wide boards, but i do believe that the isonic is an incredible innovation in slalom boards.
all in all i would recommend the futura because really it is a fast board with which you can really have lots of fun with your big sails and has a lot of control and especially a really wide wind range. another thing that differentiates it from the isonic is its number of footstrap rows (2) which will allow you to navigate as you most please.
