Can I use MarineTex to repair my Starboard Start epoxy board? Has some small chips on the nose. Thanks

Hi Darbonne,
What year model is your Start? If it's only chips in the paint, Marine Tex is good as a filler. Easy to apply, easy to fair in, but will require some paint over the top. If you have an older Start and the nose is sort of "splitting" as the point where the factory trimmed off the EVA, then it would be better to peel back the EVA about 2" and use some fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin (West Systems works well) to reinforce the damaged area, then repaint and stick the EVA back down. No splitting just some chips missing from the nose. Sounds like the Marine Tex will work. Thanks for the reply.
