Neil Pryde Saber 6.7
Noth Sails XType 7.8 Straps out and back Mast centered Fins Drake 32 and Tarifa Fin Company 40 It feels way better that other freeride boards, but i think it would be great to see how it does with a bigger sail (i weight 65 kgs.) |

OK. Seems that we use quite the same settings.
Since i have tested a pure slalom board, i feel the stype too low on water, and tough, very hard to keep control in chop over 26/27 knts, while the slalom board was higher and "fly" over chop without demanding big legs. On flat water, no problem to reach 30 kts :-D Maybe i begin to touch the limits of the board (mmmm, not sure, limits of the guy ;-) ) ? |

My settings:
NP RS Slalom 7.2 Fin Select Super Fast 37 straps back and out Mast track full forward NP RS Slalom 6.2 Fin Drake Slalom 32 Mast track 1/3 back This board in above configuration is unbeatable in choppy conditions between 18 and 25 kts . Even faster than ISonic, and easier to control. I love this board !! There is nothing more exciting ... Tim |

Great, i am now using S-type more as a fast board and freestyle board. I really think is a very complete board for flat water. I like to go fast, but always go looping, doing some freestyle. Really fun on it.
Now is my favorite board! S-type + Blade 5.7 = fun! Ricardo Guglielmino |

Well, I use the wood one. Today was a light wind day...really light! and I had my Stype in the beach and saw an Overdrive 8.5 and decided to give it a try...well, despite the almost non-planning conditions I started planning in some gusts. And it felt ok. I was wondering how an Stype 115 can improve their performace with a 3 cm smaller and bigger fin in different conditions from sails 5.5 to maybe 8.0. I mean, for recreational use.

Does, anyone have experience with an 8.5 on the 115? An 8.5 is larger than the recommended sail range, and may be out of balance for the 115. But who knows? Any feedback would be appreciated.
