Hi Starboard-Team!
I have the chance to get an ISonic 135 from 2006. This board will replace my Hypersonic 111. I will use the ISonic with 8.5 and 7.5 sails on my home-lake (conditions from flat to little chop). My second board for "higher winds" is the Carve 111 (2006). My questions: Should I wait for the IS122 (2008) or should I get the IS135 (2006)? What about the Futura 133 to complement my Carve? Thanks for your replies...! Andreas |

Even if your a heavy weight, I think the iS135 might not be to much fun with a 7.5m as its such a big board. The iS135 is more for 8m to 10m light winds. The iS122 will feel much nicer with a 7.5m & 8.5m and will be more controlable when the wind picks up, but still be v-good in light winds.

Hi Marc!
Thx for your reply. You are right - IS135 maybe too big for me (75kg). I am still not quite sure, whether to get the IS122 or the Futura 133. The Futura is cheaper and - according to the first testresults - not that much slower than the IS. Cheers, Andreas |

How about swapping both your C111 & HS111 for a iS111 ( wider tailed 08 model). At 75kg the iS111 should still have good light wind performance, and just about work with a 6.5m (& small fin) in stronger winds? Would make choosing which board to use real easy!!
Just a thought. Cheers |
