ISonic 122 Only 114 ltr on the ISAF List
Hi Kevin
Hope you have time to test 2008 Slalom boards. Will you use same quiver as 86 101 122 like last year? I check the ISAF production board registration list than the new Isonic 122 is only 114 ltr. Do you think the new IS122 is smaller than last year board? Thanks Koray |

Hi Koray!
I own a IS122 (2008) and have asked almost the same question (see: http://www.star-board.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2976). I can plane at 3.5 Beaufort with 8.5m-Sail (North R-Type). I am 75kg. I think, that the IS122 is NOT too small, but I would not go bigger than 8.5m. Well, that's just what I found out when sailing this beautiful board. Best regards, Andreas. |

Hi Kevin can you answer the question about the volume and bigger sails on 122 because i am thinking about changing from 122 to 133 as I am 100 kgs and plan to use it on lightwind slalom races. I found 122 very fast once it get planning but in 11 to 13 knots slalom race I think that 133 will perform better. What would be your choice for 8.4 and 9.0 NP RSR ?

I have been using the 133 for the light winds. I think i will keep it up. Hope to get some more time on it in Costa Brava!!
