wow, for one day i had more sails then Kevin Pritchard :d how amazingly cool :d
Too bad he left maui sails, i really like the brand, very strait forward outlines, no giant blah, just sails (comes with a price tagg though, thats why i unfortunaly don't have any ... )

Let's be fair here. Kevin is a standup guy that is reaching a critical time in his life. I've had the pleasure of talking for some time with Kevin over a span of years (from some interesting meetings in 1998 and 2006), and I can say that I have been impressed by his understanding, talent, accomplishments and vision.
I think that it's fair to say that his separation with Maui Sails is unclear. My business relationships with Maui Sails have been truly top flight, and I can say that my situation could have been much more difficult. I'm very very impressed with Maui Sails (both with Barry and Phil). These guys have much to offer. Nevertheless, Kevin's dilemma must be unquestionably complex. I think that it important to give the situation room and space. Life finds balance overall, and maybe some history. Let's focus on patience as our guide. |

Having to use race sails that just got heavier every year from the Nitro 1 through to the TR-3, i guess physically he needed something lighter.
