camcording it

Hey all,
Going to maui in a few weeks looking for tips on how to record the action.
I am wondering about strapping a Sanyo Xacti E-1 to my wrist and trying to sail and take shots.
Anybody ever try to do this??
No i wont hit big ramps whilst doing this dont see how i could not destroy myself or the camera in this process.

I would say you are better off strapping it somewhret on the mast or boom. Strapped to your wrist it will move around a lot more and you will also have trouble keeping it pointing the right way.

The best shots are achieved by floating in the water and filming others as long as you can be seen and everyone knows where you are.
