Why others sailmakers don't make kites?

Only Gastra and Windswing makes both sails and kites. Wh y not Niel Pried and Hot and other?

three years back I asked jeff henderson this question as to why hot doesnt make kites.

told me he doesnt make kites as he is NOT interested in them.
he then implied that they are inherently ( my words) dangerous
by using this eaxmple ,
your powered up on a kite then you wipeout, you head is under or dragging in the water, you cant see the kite to control it and or maybe your arms arent on the bar , what then happens to the kite???
take a windsurf rig with this same analogy..
as the "Kidfrombrooklyn.com ( look this guy up for a laugh) would say " anyway think about it "
