Hallo Remi + co, thinking abouth replacing my formula 160 with an apollo to
sail those really lightwind days with a 11,6 rs6.. what the biggest differences between
those 2 boards??..I dont sail races..just for kicks...
my weight is 210 pounds...

thanx

It all depends on your typical sailing conditions. If you go out frequently in the 6-10 knot range and don't see 10-15 too often, then the apollo may be a good choice. I have the 160 and have no desire to go out in under 10 knots because I have enough days with wind over 10 knots.

However, in north Texas, Mid July to mid September are pretty bad. Almost never get any sailing in, but could possibly with the apollo and a 75 or 80cm fin. Overall, the 160 fits the conditions here better than the apollo. If I was rich and had a bigger van, I could add the apollo to my quiver of boards.
