Starboard have Discouraged Windsurfing

I used to be such a keen windsurfer. Everyday I would go to the StarBoard forums and have a great time. I had a great passion for the sport which was further encouraged with the old fun star-board free forums.

Starboard killed the real & original Free Forum .. so now I only cum here every 2 or 3 months. So now I don't really have as much enthusiasm for the sport. Reading all the fun threads on the old starboard forum was great windsurfing stimulation.

But alas times have changed and StarBoard, whilst they talk about promoting the sport, their actions are the opposite.

Bit sad. Silly SB.

You are a total d*ck. So you are basically saying that by not have the old forum, its spoilt your fun on the water???? Windsurfing is what makes windsurfing fun, NOT forums.

i think that every forum has it's lifecycle. During 5 years almost all the themes are discused and forum starts to copy itself. Its borring. Nobody wants to discuss themes once again. Passionate members became passive. Form of sharing information and emotions should change every five years.

good i'm not the only messed up person of the sb forum

but seriously how does a bad forum put you off windsurfing? I got loads of bad comments in the beginning because i sometimes just guessed but it never put me off, i learned and whenever i had the chance i went out on my gear and had as much a blast as i could returning to normal life with a satisfied feeling. The only problem, it gets harder and harder to suffice my needs

i'm totally going step-in-stone theory with windsurfing. haaaa remeber the times when you were happy with 6 knots?? Now it's 14, lol.

Don't let what people write put you off your own convictions. People say one board sux, you say it kicks ass, their problem, as long as you're having fun on the water and can have a good laugh on the side with other riders all is well, thats what sports and especially windsurfing is all about.

why don't you start a new forum if you don't like this one I will CUM to it!

Go to http://www.freeforums.org/ you might go windsurfing again.

Haha you guys picked up on my deliberate word spelling! haha

Yea .. I still love getting out on the water, but without spending half-an-hour everyday on the old SB freeforum winding-up LeeD and SteveC, I guess with my busy life, I just find it easier to miss those not quite so perfect days as I am not thinking about LeeD windsurfing wind-ups all-day every-day.

Anyway see you all in 6 months.

Keep it up (for everyone except the SB tossas who discourage windsurfing).
