Replacement for my Fanatic Falcon 111

I'm looking to replace my Falcon 111 (06 I think) 69cm wide. This is my biggest board typically used with my biggest sail, NP RSS 7.8. I don't race but I like to go fast. The falcon is an early planer and the replacement needs to match this.

The obvious choice is the Isonic 111, just wandering how this will compare to my Falcon in terms of planning, performance and control. I'm also open to looking at Futura if this is not too much of a step down in performance.

Hi Des,

The plaining and replacement will beter with more control and confort.

The 7,8 is the size who work the most of this board, so good choice.

Hi,

I would agree with Remi, after owning every model of the 115-111 era. Its a fantastic overall board with impeccable control and awesome speed. I would say the 7.8m is the ideal default setting for the 111.

Hi Guys, the Falcon 111 is a very early planer. I have no problems getting it pumped on the plane in 12 knots with my 7.8m. Can I expect the same from the Isonic 111?
