Hi they are made from a close cell waterproof foam material called EVA, Starboard do sell them but in some places are difficult to aquire. I made my own from blue EVA (we have a shop in NZ called Payless Plastics) you can stick to board with contact adhesive (hard to remove but secure) or plumbers silicone sealant (the white stuff they use to seal showers and baths

If you can't get the nose guard from starboard. Then have a look at Northshore Inc. They are based in Hood River and I've ordered custom cut padz and stand-up deck padz by just sending them a template of what I wanted.
