Futura 133 + north sail s type 9.5

What do you think about this set?
Can I use a fin of 50 cm?

Hi to all

I have similar question, I have FUTURA 133 + NORTH SAILS S-TYPE 9,5 but I didn’t test it yet. As max sail for this board is specified 9,5 and max fin 50 cm. My weight is 90 kg, so optimum race fin for 9,5m² sail would be approximately 55 cm.

My question is, can I use 55 cm fin on FUTURA 133 or is better to stick with specification and use 50 cm fin.

I think that you can use also a 55 cm fin but it is better that you use a 50 cm fin becuse 50cm is faster than 55cm...

This is not always true.
I can sail with iS145 9m2 and 48cm fin, but board are very sticky.
Speed are more better with 52-57cm fin.
