We care because this is the fin company that makes the fins for all of the starboard boards. Curiosity killed the cat. The Starboard website has no deatils in any of the fins included with their boards.

Drake fins are still available as after market orders through Starboard dealers. I don't know what happened to the web site though nor if also other types and sized than those fitted oem on Starboards are available.

The Drake fins was always associated with Starboard and could always be bought from Starboard dealers, even before the launch of the Drake web site. And you can still get the fins from such a source.
But I agree, since many of the Drake fins are very, very good, it would be good to have some information on them somewhere if nothing else as a service to potential buyers of Starboard boards. I'll forward this to the staff. |
