hey girls!
im starting to do carve duck gybes. im having a bit of trouble with the carving and flicking the sail though. i was wondering if anyone has any advice? cheers, LisA x

Hi Lisa!
I saw you already got some explanation from the Prokids. In my case it helped a lot, to practise the shift technique on the beach and later in light wind on a big board. So, I did not have to concentrate on the shifting anymore and could focus on carving the board (pressure on the inside rail) trough the whole turn. Make sure to be really quick with your hands, especially when pulling the clew. And the earlier you shift, the easier it is. So, good luck and keep us updated... Kerstin |
