hi fellow windsurfers
starting january i will be posted in perth. i intend to bring a 2006 fanatic hawk 95 with me. i would appreciate if you could help me to decide on the sail size(s) i need to be able to sail most of the time. my height is 185 cm, weight 72 and windsurf for around 4 years in singapore. i consider myself already as an intermediate since i windsurf at least 3 times a week and therefore have at least some experience, except waves since singapore has flat water only. thank you very much for sharing your thoughts, edgar |

While I have no actual experience with Australian weather conditions, it would be of value to investigate the following website to learn more.

hello Edgar,
as iam a perth resident and weigh the same as yourself, i would recomend sails of 6.6 and a 5.0 as a bare minimum in a free ride style sail.a 4.5 and a 7.0 wont go as stray either. |

Yeah, I agree. It depends on the sailing you want to do, but 6.5 and 5.0 should cover it nicely over summer, with the others extending the scope but you'll have plenty of opportunity in Perth WA summer so just go for it.
