Default PWA rules

Just curious. This may or may not be the forum for this. Does the PWA enforce/require drug testing? Performance enhancing drugs, or for that matter, any other illegal substances?

The reality is (and this is the case with a LOT of professional sports that simply don't have the budget that golf, cycling, NHL have etc) it is simply too expensive to test people for drugs.

That being said, because of the technicalities involved with sailing I'm not convinced performance enhancing drugs would be as beneficial to someone in windsurfing as opposed to a purely physical sport like weightlifting or 100m sprint etc.

For any historians out there, has there ever been drug testing in windsurfing? I remember the Formula Worlds in 2004 some of us guys were drug tested as we were looking to get the Formula class to the Olympics...
