Hallo Remi,
I'm still enjoying my '10 131 and 111.In my opinion this year the boards have made a real step further. Questions regard new range. If I've right inderstood overall the new boards are a tiny thinner with sharper rails. Is the low end as good as the '10? What appears strange to me is the fast change of the '10 94 new concept to a more "classic" shape 90 '11. Why you need that? What's wrong with the 94? And what's improved in the new 90? thx for helping |

Hi G,
The low end are even better, so you will get planning earlier and better control for all the range. Nothing was wrong with the 94 but we get a better lenght balance for 2011 for all the range. The board are not thinner but have deep deck concave the reason why you have less volume. Let me know the sails that you will have this season to give you the best choice Hope this help

thank you Remi.
Wow,can't believe there's something better than the 131!! As well as can't wait to personally figurate out the 107 gain over the 111... We noted a small edge in favor of the 101 in over 25k and chop condition and both on 7,0. But I'd like also a board for the 6,3.I'm not sure the 97 is ok with this sail size... I'm going to hold on with the sail sizes:still 9,5 - 8,6 - 7,8 - 7,0 - 6,3 82 kg - 180 - expert |

Hi G,
The 97 in 6.3 and 7.0 is a rocket and are the best sail for her. Are you looking for 3 boards or 2? Do you use 9.5 in race in your country? All the best

yep,the 9,5 can be used and I'm absolutely not a quick planner.
Otherwise it's difficult racing in 6,3 but you never know in slalom and I love this size in winter... 3 boards quiver |

Hi G,
In this case this my recommendation : iSonic 127 because you use 9.5 other wise that will be the iSonic 117 Wide. I am correct that you use this combo in 2010? : 131 : 9.5/8.6 111 : 7.8/7 94 : 7/6.3 To chose the best 2 other ones All the best All the best

in 2010 I got just 131 and 111 (right,I use it in the way you write) but in the 2011 I'd like to add the small one.In my opinion, for the usual condition I sail 131 and 111 are out discussion:too good, too versatile.
Sometime I've thought at a 80 cm.Think I could push longer but then I prefer the fantastic 111.You know what I mean. When I'm at the edge with the 131 and the 8,6 I'mm ready for the 111 and the 7,8.Still,since 2007 every year I've bought the 111 and I've really pushed it so much with the 7,0 that many times I've asked why I desire a small board! I have a smaller slalom (37cm ofo). It's pretty fast and controllable but using it in gusty wind and I'd prefer a wider tail board which allows me to not kill my arms because the numerous push and pull of the sail.Plus I guess that a board like the 90 or 97 has a higher average speed in a race course allowing easier gybes and more confidence. Now problem is:how much smaller?? |

Hi G,
So 127 & 107 and to not be close to the 107 and use 6.3 & 7.0 I will recommend you the 87 if your place is very choppy with waves, more flat to litle choppy go for the 90. All the best

hallo Remi,
need your help with wind range (sailor around 82,expert,comp point of view): - 127/9,5 - 127/8,6 - 117w (is it succesfully possible use it with the 9,5?) / 9,5 - 117w/8,6 - 117w (is it succesfully possible use it with the 7,8?) / 7,8 - 97/ (is it succesfully possible use it with the 7,8?) / 7,8 - 97/7,0 - 97/6,2 - 90/7,0 - 90/6,2 - 90/(is it succesfully possible use it with the 5,5?) / 5,5 I'm not able to figurate out what's the difference between the 97 (isaf rec 94l) and the 90 (isaf rec 91l) while using the 7,0 and the 6,2.Apparently they have the same range.. Hard question to answer but,to me,very helpfull. thx |
