Hi Starboard Team,
I want to replace my 2006 Evo 70 with an Isonic 76. Sails with the Evo are 3,7mē. 4,2mē and 4,7mē on choppy Flat Water conditions, windspeed from 25 to 35 Knts. My bigger Board is an Isonic 94 that I sail with 5,4mē and 6,2mē. My weight is 78kg (172lb). Does the change from the Evo 70 to the Isonic 76 make sense? Thanks you for response, with best regards Matthias from Germany |

The EVo and the iS are two RADICALLY different boards. But if your sailing is high wind high speed oriented, the iS76 is a nice board, for sure. But it will be totally different from the EVO 70 and the iS76 also prefers stiffer, slalom type sails. IN fact, I don't know how well it would go with a 3.7. If your small sails are more wave style sails and if you intend to keep them I suggest and Kode 68 is a more appropriate high wind freerider.
