Hi,
I'm considering an allaround board for light - med wind that I can take in the waves. Can you put the back strap in the true center of the board for '09, '10 & '11? I'm sorry if this has been answered somewhere but I couldn't find it. Regards. |

The Kode 103 certainly does not have two screws for the back strap. The bigger kodes are not built in the beefed up construction that the smaller are.

What do you mean that they are not beefed up?

I actually got a new 09 kode 112 last fall. It really sails like a much smaller board. I use a single rear foot strap and will hopefully get it in the waves soon. I have to say the tuttle box is hard to deal with since I can't keep the same fin in all the time. Any chance starboard will go to power box on future models?

Ok. Mums the word on power box.
I have had the kode 112 in the waves a few times now. I'm pretty happy with it. Mostly chest high or less. I've been using a weed fin (I know, yuck). I'm thinking about trying a true ames enduro 9.75" for the tuttle box. Anyone else had any experience with the big kode wave fins? |

After a couple years of the '09 kode 112 with enduro wave fin I can say I've had some great wave sailing on this board.
